The retreat property spans more than 60 acres of wetland, including a full house for retreat-goers and several cabins (most of which are located close to the owners’ home). The cabins are about a mile hike from the main house, but you can also drive to them and park out front.
The house’s front room, complete with fairy lights. Perfectly quaint outdoor showers A river runs through the property just a few-minute walk from the house. A wooden boardwalk winds through the property and along the river. A perfect spot for meditation and outdoor writing or workshopping. Yes, yes. There is a drum circle in the basement. The house sits on 66 acres of wetland
Main House: Private Rooms
The main house has two private rooms with large beds; one on the main floor and one downstairs. Single occupancy for these rooms is $200. Please contact us for details on sharing these rooms.
Main House: Shared Room
Downstairs in the main house is a room that currently has several beds in it, but only 2 people will be sharing the room. It’s $100 to stay in the shared room.
Cabins
There are 3 private cabins on the property. Two are rustic, with no electricity or running water; one has electricity. All have heated outdoor showers, but any occupant of the cabins is welcome to bathe in the main house, if preferred. Each has woodstove heat.
There’s also a shared cabin with 2 bedrooms and indoor plumbing (a toilet, at least). We unfortunately don’t have any pictures of the shared cabin, but it’s spacious and comfortable.
Obviously these photos are from the winter…imagine fall leaves, instead!
